Things to do
Cosy Corner Beach Chalets are within walking distance of a family-friendly beach. Pristine white sands stretch into the distance, offering surfing, snorkelling and fishing.
The coastal scenery throughout the area is spectacular – high cliffs interspersed with pretty beaches, granite outcrops surrounded by coastal heathland - and close by is West Cape Howe National Park, which features the southernmost point of Western Australia, Torbay Head.
Enjoy the Park's native birds and animals, admire the wildflowers, or, for the more adventurous, indulge in some rock-climbing or abseiling. Look out to sea, where you may see whales or dolphins at play.
Much of the National Park is accessible only on foot or by four wheel drive vehicle, the exception being the delightful Shelley Beach, where you may see hang gliders and paragliders soaring above the waves.
For a little exercise, take a walk along the world famous Bibbulmun Track, which runs along the coast close by the cottages.
Just a short drive east to Albany
Albany was the site of the first European settlement in Western Australia and the echoes of the past are evident in many lovingly restored buildings, which are open to visitors. Visit the Convict Gaol and the replica Brig Amity, which brought the first contingent of settlers to Albany.
Albany's natural attractions, such as The Gap, Natural Bridge and Blow Holes are well known, but there are many more locations where the coastal scenery is simply amazing.
Visit Whale World, which was the last working whaling station in Australia and is now a fascinating tourist attraction. Mt Romance Sandalwood Factory offers tours, a cafe and showroom.
Albany boasts art galleries, wineries, golf courses and other sporting facilities.
... or west to Denmark and the Tree Top Walk

Visit renowned beauty spots such as Greens Pool and Elephant Rocks along the way, as well as celebrated wineries, art and craft galleries, and much more..
